Muddiest Point - Wk #8

Is it necessary to know HTML any more since it seems as if most web editing software has HTML built-in?

    Hey Tracy!
    I was actually wondering this too! It seems that all of the readings that we have read so far have replaced HTMl with XML. I wonder though, if it would be beneficial to have some prior knowledge of HTML at least to be somewhat familiar with web page editing tools?
